Yin/Restorative

Sundays, 4 pm (beginning September 7)

1 h 15 min

Class Description

Both Yin and Restorative Yoga are quiet, passive practices that invite stillness and deep rest. While both involve holding poses for longer periods, each offers a unique experience. Yin Yoga encourages gentle stress on the connective tissues to promote flexibility and release. It’s a practice of sensation, stillness, and mindful stretching. Restorative Yoga is all about comfort and ease. With plenty of props and support, the body is gently held in restful poses, allowing the nervous system to relax and the body to restore itself naturally.
