Yoga & Fitness

Be Well Yoga & Fitness is an open and welcoming studio for yogis of all levels. Our classes offer step-by-step guidance with hands-on assistance when needed (and with your consent). Modifications are available for each pose to accommodate each individual yogi.

Yoga is a progressive type of movement, and one will have the most benefits from a consistent practice. Be Well offers a variety of classes from beginning to advanced practices. Level 1 classes introduce and reinforce basic poses. Level 2 classes provide opportunity for yogis to build and expand the poses as the body grows stronger and more flexible.

Yin Yoga, Level 2
Monthly on Friday Afternoons
Yin yoga is a calming and healing practice that encourages deep relaxation and healing. Rather than engaging the larger muscles as we do in a more Yang or traditional yoga practice, Yin focuses on stimulating connective tissues, fascia, and joints.
Level 1 classes are designed for yogis who are new to yoga or are returning to yoga and are looking for slow-paced direction and a great deal of detail. Level 1 classes focus heavily on the basic principles of alignment as well as building strength and flexibility.
Level 2 classes are designed for yogis who have had some exposure to yoga, including an introduction to basic yoga poses, proper alignment and breathing practices. Level 2 classes build on the foundational
elements learned in level 1 classes and offer more challenging poses with longer holds.
Level 3 classes are designed for yogis who have an established personal yoga practice, and are looking for more challenge, inner awareness, stamina, and strength building.
