September 2022 - First Steps

Warm up - Forming your intention: why did you sign up for this workshop and what are you hoping to get out of it?

Prompt #1:  What is your earliest memory?

Prompt #2:  How has that memory informed your thoughts about yourself? How has it shaped your story and your life?

Prompt #3:  Make a list of 10 things that bring you total joy and a list of ten things that make you feel less than

                        awesome. 

Prompt #4:  Based on the list you just made, can you commit to releasing one "nay" and focusing on one "yay"?

October 2022 - Endings and Beginnings

Warm up:  How does fall impact you personally? What are some things that make this time of year special and meaningful to you? 

Prompt #1:  What have you come through to get to the place where you are right now? 

Prompt #2:  We have to make mistakes in order to grow.  When you reflect on your mistakes, how do you practice self compassion?

  In what ways have your mistakes enabled you to grow?

Prompt #3:  What new things are bubbling up in your life right now? What is ending as these things are beginning?

Prompt #4:  Make a list of ten things you can let go of or set aside until next spring. 

 

November 2022 - Gratitude Practices

Warm up:  Who or what has been a pleasant surprise in the past six months?

Prompt #1:  How is your life better today than it was a year ago?

Prompt #2:  What qualities do others admire in you? What abilities have others praised you for?

Prompt #3:  Describe a mentor or teacher who influenced you and write them a brief thank you note. 

Prompt #4:  Call to mind someone who is currently "under your skin" or "rubbing you the wrong way."  List

                        three things you like about them? List three ways they challenge you to grow and three lessons you've

                        learned from them.

Prompt #5:  Make a list of ten ways you  could express your thankfulness to others in the next 24 to 48 hours. 

December 2022 - Year End

Warm up:    What are the top three best memories you have from the past year?

Prompt #1:  Which people were most important to you this year and why?

Prompt #2:  What new hobbies, passions, or skills did you develop this year?

Prompt #3:  What was your biggest challenge or obstacle this year and what was the biggest lesson you learned from      

                        that challenge?

Prompt #4:  What is going well in your life right now that you'd like to carry forward into next year?

Prompt #5:  Make a list of five things from this year for which you are grateful and five priorities for 2023.

January 2023 - Intention Setting

Warm up:  2022 was the year that I...

Prompt #1:  What qualities of yourself and your life do you want to take from 2022 to 2023?

Prompt #2:  In 2023, I would like to bring more _______________ into my life

Prompt #3:  Something new I want to learn this year is....  And, what steps do I need to take to make it happen? One

Prompt #4:  One small thing I'll do every day to be my best self is...

Prompt #5:  My empowering mantra or affirmation for this year will be...

February 2023 - Fill your Own Cup First (self love/self care)

Warm up:  What are you grateful for this week?

Prompt #1:  What is the one thing you can do to reduce stress in your life?

Prompt #2:  What have you done lately just for you?

Prompt #3:  Make a list of everything you'd like to say "no" to.

Prompt #4:  If you had an extra hour everyday, what would you do with it?

Prompt #5: Write a letter of gratitude to yourself for looking after your own well-being.

Prompt #6:  What one kind thing will you do for yourself this afternoon/evening?
