Welcome to the beautiful practice of yoga!

Whether you're new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, we welcome everyone in our inclusive and supportive studio. Discover strength, flexibility, and a deeper sense of peace in your body and mind, no matter where you are on your journey. Every body is welcome, every practice is unique.

Yoga is the practice of self-inquiry, including the physical, mental, emotional, energetic, and spiritual aspects of life. There are many different styles of yoga, and the key is to find the style which best suits your personal needs in the present moment. If you try a class which did not go well for you, other styles of yoga, from gentle to more aerobically intense, may be right for you.

Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Style

Vinyasa yoga is one approach to yoga in which we move from one pose directly into the next. There's a flow to a Vinyasa yoga session, though the specific poses and the pace of the flow vary from one class to the next.

What makes yoga unique from other types of movement is its journey of exploration and growth. With each class, we discover how our bodies respond to various poses and movements, making every practice a new adventure. There are only so many poses...the challenge becomes in how we approach the pose and how we transition from one pose to the other. Classes build on each other and one will experience the greatest benefit from a consistent practice.

Level 1 classes focus heavily on the basic principles of alignment as well as building strength, stamina,  and flexibility.  These classes are designed for yogis looking for a slow-paced practice with a great deal of direction and detail.  Level 1 classes are perfect for beginners and those returning to their practice after a time away.

Level 2 classes build on the foundational elements learned in Level 1 classes and offer more challenging poses with longer holds.  These classes are designed for yogis who have an established personal yoga practice, and are looking for a challenging class that builds inner awareness, stamina, and strength.

Gentle Vinyasa is a slower-paced practice, with less intense poses that focuses on flexibility and relaxation.  Gentle Vinyasa is designed for yogis of all levels and can be beneficial for a wide range of individuals seeking a gentle and mindful approach to yoga.
