Barb Rome is a Yoga Teacher Training student with YogaFit International and serves as the Operations Manager at Be Well Yoga & Fitness. With five years of personal practice and one year in teacher training, Barb brings warmth, compassion, humor, and a strong attention to alignment into the studio. Her teaching style is supportive and welcoming, helping students feel safe, seen, and encouraged in their practice.

 

Barb appreciates the beauty of a simple, foundational practice, while also loving the challenge of more complex postures and continued growth on the mat. She is passionate about making yoga accessible for everybody and believes in the value of a steady, consistent practice. Her kind spirit, great sense of humor, and down-to-earth presence make her a joy to practice with.

In addition to leading yoga classes, Barb is a hair stylist and owns Hair Essentials. Barb enjoys gardening, cooking, and giving old furniture new life by turning it into one-of-a-kind pieces of art, as well as spending time with her children and grandson.
