Winter Solstice Spread, 2025

The Winter Solstice is the longest night of the year, a natural pause that invites reflection and a fresh start. It’s a time to notice what’s ending, let go of what no longer serves us, and quietly turn toward what’s next. This five-card tarot spread helps us explore that process, offering guidance on what to release, what’s ready to grow, and how to step into the coming year with clarity and intention.

Card # 1: The Sacred Darkness This card reveals what the quiet, introspective darkness is inviting you to notice, feel, or acknowledge in yourself. It represents the inner landscape illuminated only by your own awareness.

Card # 2: The Fertile Void This card shows what is forming quietly within you. The seed of a future possibility that has not yet emerged but is already taking shape.

Card # 3: The Release This card points to an identity, pattern, or lesson that has run its course. It is the energy ready to be laid down at the longest night so the cycle can shift.

Card # 4: The First Light This card reveals the early spark of hope, clarity, or inspiration that is just starting to rise as the light comes back.

Card # 5: The Path Ahead This final card illuminates the energy, intention, or direction that will grow stronger as the days lengthen. It shows what your soul is ready to cultivate in the returning light.
