Hey, yogis...fall has a way of reminding us to pause, breathe, and let go. The trees show us how it’s done — dropping what they no longer need so something new can grow. We’d love for you to join us this month as we welcome that fresh, cozy energy into our practice.

Stop by and say hello to our newest yogi, Bea Welhelmina! She’s here just in time for spooky season! We’ve got a few magical things planned this month, including a Sound Immersion, Tea & Tarot, and a special Samhain luncheon. See more...
Looking for a little extra calm this month?
I'm honored to be able to fill in for Anita on Wednesday, October 29. Since Anita is the Tai Chi expert, I'll be offering something a little different...a special mid-week Restorative Yoga practice. If you've wondered what restorative yoga is all about, this is a great opportunity to give it a try. Be sure to sign up early to save your spot.
Exploring Our Next Yama: Satya (Truthfulness)
Satya, the yogic principle of truthfulness, invites us to live in alignment with what is real — in our words, actions, and even our thoughts. It’s not just about “telling the truth,” but about showing up authentically and honoring our deepest values. Satya is beautifully balanced by Ahimsa, the practice of non-harming, which reminds us that our truth is meant to be shared with kindness and compassion. Together, these two principles guide us to speak honestly without causing unnecessary harm, and to live in a way that feels both true and gentle. This month, we’ll explore how Satya can help us be more authentic — not just “nice” — and how pairing it with Ahimsa creates deeper connection with ourselves and others. Journal prompts exploring the Yamas and the Niyamas can be found in the members' area...
Cheers to Jane & Carol! 150 classes strong, that’s 150 times choosing yourselves and your practice. We’re so proud and so glad you share your journey with us!
Looking ahead...
Regular classes will be canceled on Friday, November 28 for our Black Friday version of Yang to Yin. Be Well will be closed from December 20-31. Classes will resume with a New Year Yang to Yin at 9:30 am on January 1.
Thank you for being part of our Be Well community. As we move through October, I hope you find moments to pause, breathe, and nurture yourself. Whether it’s through a Sunday Restorative Yoga class, a mid-week practice, or one of our special events, I can’t wait to see you on the mat and share this season of renewal together.
May you find peace and serenity in your yoga practice.
Namaste,
Susan
